The series concludes with a plunge into the unseen. Nebula draws inspiration from the Orion Nebula, those elusive clouds of interstellar gas, invisible to the naked eye yet undeniably real somewhere in the infinite expanse of space.
The word “nebula” carries a duality within it: a celestial object of captivating beauty, but also a word that suggests something unstable, uncertain and indistinct. This work reflects my questions and fears, that sense of attraction tinged with vertigo that I feel when confronted with the universe. It embodies the contradictory emotions that shape my relationship with the unknown, with immensity, with all that lies beyond me.
The journey ends with what is at once the most distant and the most deeply inward — hence the darker, deeper colours.
